Members of Likha Pilipino Folk Ensemble will be featured in the upcoming short film “Prinsesa,” about a father who reacts when his young son daydreams of becoming the princess in a traditional Philippine dance.

Likha has served the community since 1992, and was founded by Rudi C. Soriano, former dance soloist with Bayanihan Philippine Dance Company.   Likha has performed internationally at many cultural dance festivals in South America, Europe, and Asia, sharing the beauty and cultural history of traditional Philippine dance.

The Prinsesa film team is headed by Director Drew Stephens (RDM Studios, Scary Cow Productions) and is comprised entirely of volunteers, eager to share this important story with audiences. Production continues through 2013, with a premiere screening expected in March of 2014.

More info on Likha can be found online at www.Likha.org
